giovanni56
A pair of Ar3a that I have restored; every time I listen to them they amaze me with their natural and musically magical sound.

lARrybody
I love that cabinet style. I have AR5's and 2ax's with euro cabinets. Your 3a's are fantastic.

Glenn...It's the same cabinet used with the AR-3a Improved of the mid-70's. Very few of these cabinets made it to the US. Care must be taken when moving 'em around, as the thin trim piece likes to snap off. Don't ask me how I know. :) Roy
genek
Are those thin moldings just stuck onto the fronts of the standard US beveled face frames..?

It's a nice look. Glenn

It was about 15 years ago. I really didn't look closely. It broke off rather evenly, and was easy to repair. Roy
giovanni56
The moldings glued, but are also, embedded inside a milling cut in the thickness of the panels.

These cabinets also have a different size grill.
genek
They also don't appear to have that solid wood face frame, now that I see a closeup.
