None who will have any idea about AR's specifically

Hi I'm in the UK (Dorset) I can refoam your woofers for free if needed , obv you will need refoam kit, cheapest for us are from a company in Holland, are the mids and tweeters working ? are the adjustable pots on the back movable or corroded stuck , new grille covers are easy enough to do message me if needed Gary
-
They are original , they were an option as against linen , these above came from a pair of 2AX's I picked up here in UK I changed them
-
refoamed recapped new grilles the bad news , collect Dorset UK , so doubt if any takers here ... 150gbp
-
ok so I swapped the Euro 2AX's woofers, the ones in the lower photo above, into the US cabinets and then tried the top ones in the Euro cabinets, and either way the lower larger magnet ones sound better than the other woofers , more bass more presence far better ? fwiw I refoamed both pairs
-
so in the US 2AX's the woofers are these and in the Euro 2AX's the woofers are these , is there any difference is one better than the other ?
-
so picked up what I though were early 2ax's , primarily because I prefer US cabinets, but to me the tweeters are the same as late 2ax's so are they US late 2ax's ? more refoaming , I know and they came with these lovely (not) orangey brown grille covers

They fetch much less here in the UK , not the love for AR as elsewhere https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2334524.m570.l1313&_nkw=speakers+ar3&_sacat=293&LH_TitleDesc=0&_odkw=speakers+ar&_osacat=293&_sop=10&LH_PrefLoc=1&LH_ItemCondition=3000

Yes been looking at those carefully , understand about my caps not being enclosed but confused as those schematics are not same, showing different colour wires going to mid and high ? and yes it look like the center terminals were previously soldered, if so will that leave the pots on max/high ? I'll take some better pics if I can
-
Well to be honest in the same state as when I got them , none of the mids are working and AR parts are non existent here in the UK , new pots from the US are going to cost as much as I paid for the speakers , and as for re veneering ......reckon I may just break them down for parts The 2ax's are coming on fine , I am going to refoam and not repair but cant even get the surrounds here , coming from Holland Do these look like theyre wired correctly , no wires coming from central B connectors ?
-
more 2ax's into the house , sadly on carrying them downstairs he managed to catch them on something puncturing a hole in the grill and the woofer surround , luckily not the cone, more work for me , still were free so cant complain
-
thank you , as always so helpful
-
says replacement is from another AR ? no sure which one his pic of the rear is of
