Nope. Wharfdale speakers are still manufactured by the original company in Britain, and JBL is now a subsidiary of Samsung. AR as we know it is long gone. Carnivore
The closest might be the KLH revival at klhaudio .com . They look interesting but I have to admit I haven't researched them much since I'm not currently shopping for speakers.
DavidR
IIRC Audiovox (Voxx) owns the rights to the name. I don't believe they are doing much with it so you might be able to wrestle it from them on the cheap and restart the company. I don't believe they are into quality audio gear. AR55
DavidR is right. There is little chance of Audiovox ever truly resurrecting the AR brand. They now own Klipsch and I can't see them ever investing in a second full line of speakers.

soulider
well, they issue AR high end DAP players... the nostalgia in us prefer reissue of AR3a, LST, 303, AR9 to
ligs
I love to see AR try something like its limited Model 3 speaker. I have never heard the sound of it. However, the crossovers contain 12 awg air cored inductors and arrays of polypropylene capacitors are truly a feast to my eyes.
