DavidR
I found these 3a's on C.L. in the Cape Cod and also under Boston search. Interesting wood grain. AD: Selling my AR3As! These were the state of the art back in the heyday of hi-fi. AR's advertising described them as "the best speakers we know how to build". Cabinets are beautiful- walnut, nearly furniture-perfect; one very small chip in the back corner of one cabinet. (shown) These speakers are approximately 40-odd years old, I'm sure the drivers etc could use a freshening up. All parts, grills, etc are readily available from Vintage AR or on eBay - where these still sell for over $1200/pair! If this listing caught your eye, you probably remember these like I do! Delivery may be available- additional.
JKent
Those are pretty. Doesn't look like walnut to me. Wonder what TT thinks.
DavidR
You know, when I first saw them I also said not walnut UNLESS they are quarter sawn like they do to oak a lot. The wood gain is why I posted this.
Apolek
Looks like mahogany. I believe these were offered in walnut (most common), mahogany, and birch.
