Drivers are dated 1969 and they have the big box dual capacitor in the crossover. I'm inclined to change that to better quality caps (unless the advice here is to leave them be). I'm unsure if they are the same value as for the AR-3a as described in the excellent restoration guide, or if they are different for the AR-5. Anyone? The AR-5 dual cap values are 24uf (mid) and 72uf (woofer), and the small cap for the tweeter is 4uf. I recommend replacement.
