Jim Pearce
What can anyone tell me about these? I have a chance to get them for $80, whatever they worth more or less?
JKent
Not bad speakers. There were a couple of different versions. Some were sold as part of the Twenty-Four system and had RCA jacks. Others were sold separately and had screw terminals. There was also a 24/II, Not all of the crossovers were the same. Nice little speakers, sort of like AR-4x (but I prefer the AR). If they are in good shape I'd say well worth $80 although the value of vintage speakers is all over the place. Plan on replacing the caps--one 16uF and one 8uF if they're the same as mine.
