lenjack
Has anyone tried this? Can the wall handle this? Can the speaker handle this? How bad or good an idea is this? I may purchase a pair, but have no floor space. Bookshelf mounting may be an option. Thanks in advance.
pfekula
Years ago I hung mine from the ceiling. I made them with a 3/4” rope into a large hoop to wrap around the speaker on near the edges. They were hung horizontally mounted to the rafters. I was able to adjust the angle then. Saved space and sounded good.
lenjack
Thanks. I don't think I'll go that far. Anyone else?

A little smaller and lighter than the AR-3a bookshelf speakers. BUT you must be sure that your shelf is screwed into studs. Wall anchors won't cut it. Radio shack used to sell handy brackets for wall mounting. If you just want to hang them on a wall I'd look at heavy-duty hangers designed for mirrors. Just check the weight rating. Maybe something like this https://www.amazon.com/Hangman-Z-Hanger-Mirror-Picture-Aluminum/dp/B002NEFF7Y/ref=asc_df_B002NEFF7Y/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=198097826602&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=3986336730667731143&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9003579&hvtargid=pla-321036497668&th=1 or this https://www.homedepot.com/p/HangZ-75-lb-2-Hole-D-Ring-Hanger-2-Pack-10009/206471229 I have used hangers like the ones in the 2nd link for AR-4x and Allison: Four,
lenjack
Thanks for the advice. I've had OLA's and AR3a's previously, on bookshelves, so I know how to get it right.
