Very nice speakers but you'd do well to replace the capacitors. The Seventeens used black and red Callins or Temple capacitors that were very failure-prone. You need two 2uF and one 8uF cap per cabinet.

There may be. Yours appear to have a Masonite panel for the terminals. That would be a good thing (or is it just painted metal?).

Some had aluminum plates. Stupid design.

The screen over the tweeter was black on some but I think they're the same tweeters.
