JKent Posted November 29, 2016 Report Share Posted November 29, 2016 Hi Ken and welcome. Well, the 20 had 4 ohm speakers. Most other KLH speakers were 8 ohms. The KLH Seventeen speakers are identical to the Twenty except for the impedance. I suspect you could use any speakers that aren't too power hungry. Running 4 ohm speakers off an amp designed for 8 ohm loads is risky but the other way around should be safe. You may not get the volume you want though.
