I've also heard that the "Phenolic Ring" tweeter, Parts Express # 270-252, is a good drop in replacement for the KLH tweeters, but I'm not sure abut this. I've been experimenting with the Dayton soft dome tweeter from Parts Express (275-070). VERY mellow sounding, but pretty nice. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
JKent Posted February 23, 2013 Report Share Posted February 23, 2013 I'm pretty sure most of those KLH tweeters were the same, except the 5, 12 (maybe one other). However, you can use 20 tweeters (as an example) even though the 20 was 4 ohm and the 17 was 8 ohm, The difference was the woofers--the tweeters were the same.Kent Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
