drummergrl Posted September 25, 2012 Report Share Posted September 25, 2012 What 70's model AR speaker used a 6" woofer.I'm going to go look at these speakers from a CL ad and the owner says he doesn't know what model they are but they are 70's vintage ARs with a 6" woofer. Robert_S Posted September 25, 2012 Report Share Posted September 25, 2012 If he has got the date wrong (and they do have 6 inch woofers), the only models worth consideration, in my opinion, would be the AR-8B or AR-8LS. These were produced during the early/mid eighties.My first choice for a best performance with smallest form factor Teledyne-era AR would be the AR-8s, which used an 8 inch woofer in a cabinet of similar dimensions to the AR-8B and AR-8LS.Robert_S Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
