ironlake
I have a disc with 16 hz, 20 hz, 25 hz, 30hz, 40 hz etc on it. If I put a current meter inline with one of the leads, would resonance be where the current draw is the highest?
ligs
In the age of computer sim, modelling and cutting & pasting we seldom have the chance to touch reality any more. We used to have a signal generator and an analog multi-meter at the test bench. I predict you will have the lowest current draw at the box resonant point for a sealed box which corresponds to highest impedance point.
ironlake
Thats right a parallel capacitive and inductor circuit is a tank circuit that is a band stop filter so current draw would be lowest. Been awhile since I used that stuff in school.
