VintageChris Posted February 25, 2012 Report Share Posted February 25, 2012 I recently acquired a pair of AR 90s, i have replaced the surrounds already but i can tell they are in need of a recap, but for the life of me i can not find the specs listing what specific cap values any help would be appreciated,note - i did find the schematic in the library but i cant read it or figure out how to copy it or inlarge it so i can read it, any help would be appreciated.thanks Chris Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
JKent Posted February 25, 2012 Report Share Posted February 25, 2012 Ctrl + will allow you to enlarge the imageBetter:right click the image, select "Save Image As" and copy to your hard drive. Joel Posted February 26, 2012 Report Share Posted February 26, 2012 This is the list of the values of the originals:4, 6, 8, 24, 30, 40, 80, 350You aren't going to get exact matches for all of them, so this is what I ended up for mine:PulseX for 8.2, 6.2 and 3.9.Solens for 25, 30, 40 and 80.Electrolytic combination of 100 and 250 for the 350.I've recaped both an AR90 and a AR9. I did the AR90's with the crossovers in place. It was a tight reach, but if you are patient, it can be done.
