Bias, makesme not want to post here - pathetic!DiyAudio has what is called the Sin Bin where difficult members are givena time out and not allowed to post for 1 or more weeks or somethinglike that, I believe that this would be much more productive than shutting down threads. By the time this happens, the views on both sides of whatever argument is going on have usually been stated and restated multiple times, so I'm not sure how you're concluding that any view is "winning," unless you're counting the number of times it gets repeated before the thread is closed.
