Andy Posted December 5, 2006 Report Share Posted December 5, 2006 Your amp and tuner were introduced in 1965, the same year as the Model 17 speaker. It is an exellent speaker and would be a nice match for the amp & tuner. You could also go with a slightly larger speaker, the Model 6 ....another 1960's classic which would have a bit better bass response then the 17. My first set-up in 1969 was the KLH 18 tuner (still using it), a dynakit amp (sold on ebay) and AR4x speakers (restored and in use in my living room).
