administrator
Hi Nigel! My dad has a pair of AR-91, and they look identical to the AR-915. I'm really not sure if there are any driver or crossover differences. Anyone know why AR called what appears to be the same speaker two different names? Guest
There is no technical difference between the AR-91 and AR-915.The only difference is visual, the AR-91 has its top edges cutoffand the cabinet of the AR-915 has not. (like the AR-92, which is the same as the AR-91 except for the 10 inch woofer instead of the 12 inch woofer and the cabinet edges).
Guest Nigel
I bought them, they are in now in transit.I am planning on using an Onkyo TX-8500 receiver to driver them. It is late '70s vintage, with dual power supplies, and very high current capabilities.Nigel
