Carlspeak
Does anyone know if such a beast ever existed? If so, what where it's construction characteristics (e.g. woofer size, mids?, tweeter)?I looked in the library but could not find any info there.Carl
Kuja
Yes, AR19 existed. They were part of UK Connoisseur series.I have AR30BF from the same series. Here are some scans from the brochure:http://www.kujucev.com/ar/01_ar_connoisseur_front.jpghttp://www.kujucev.com/ar/02_ar_connoisseur_spread.jpghttp://www.kujucev.com/ar/03_ar_connoisseur_back.jpg
Carlspeak
Thanks for the great info. You should send this stuff to Mark, who manages this site so he can include it in the AR library. There currently is no info on the 19 there.Remember, it's all about the musicCarlCarl's Custom Loudspeakers
Steve F
>Thanks for the great info. You should send this stuff to>Mark, who manages this site so he can include it in the AR>library. There currently is no info on the 19 there. The U.S. brochure for the Connoisseur Series is already on the site, having been sent to Mark by myself about 2 or 3 years ago. The initial series included the models 19, 20, 40, and 50. Later the series became "T'd", as all models received the titanium tweeter. The T Series included the 35T an 8"-6 1/2"-1" two-and-a-half-way that was, for a short time, on Stereophile's Recommended Components list. The 30's were never part of the U.S. Connoisseur Series. They were, instead, orphaned 1984 Anniversary models (1984 being AR's 30th anniversary, hence the 30 designation).Steve F.

It only does not have rounded front edges.
