Sainicrew87 Posted February 19, 2023 Report Share Posted February 19, 2023 Refinished the cabinets, redid the crossover with all new caps and resistors, sealed surrounds on woofer and mids with roycs sealer then tested it out to make sure it was all working and finally placed them back in with new foam surrounds. Only thing not original model 5 tweeters had to go for a pair from the model6/20 for now if i ever find originals will swap them out but for now sounds amazing with ny Hitachi SR-2000, looking to add a tube amp will save up maybe for McIntosh mc275 to give these guys the power they really crave heard them in its unrepaired form on some model 9s and loved the sound even without tweeters, one missing mid and no reseal.
