Photodad59 Posted December 12, 2020 Report Share Posted December 12, 2020 Does anyone know of a speaker repair company that has lots of experience reconing Snell speakers drivers? The 8" woofers on my J/II's are in need of refoaming, and possible reconing. I'm aware that the refoaming kits are available but I do not want to try this myself for various reasons so I'm looking for someone with lots of experience working on Snell drivers. al_roethlisberger Posted January 1, 2022 Report Share Posted January 1, 2022 I've reached out to Millersound as well regarding replacing the foam surrounds on my Type E III which appears to be the same or similar woofer as the J II. I'll post what their reply is about if they perform the service, and their thoughts on the ability to restore the original factory performance of the driver. Thanks for the recommendation!
