roundhome Posted August 6, 2004 Report Share Posted August 6, 2004 Hello all I just picked these up locally. they have been refoamed the 8 was a service replacement as is one of the tweet mid plate.the tweeter ohms out a 3.8 and works great on my spare AR 9 crossover yet it is vary week in the ls. I have the stuff to put together a AR 9 upper crossover and by amp these. I have read alot about the ls haveing a lot cheaper crossover. would putting in the 9 style crossover help this alot.(with no switches).I also read about replaceing the foam in the chamber on the bottom but can't find it now.Thank you Jimthis makes up my system AR 9s in front 9ls in the rear 58s for the center front and rear no sub woofer I wonder why Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I have a set of 9's for front L&R and do not use a subwoofer but I am driving the 9's with 2 Adcom GFA-555 II's in a vertical bi-amp configuration. roundhome Posted August 16, 2004 Author Report Share Posted August 16, 2004 Well right now I have two pioneer spec 4 s virtical on the AR 9s and one spec for on the 58s and one spec four on the 9LS these are 150 watt amps I plan on building amps for all of them and biamping the 9lsthis is for mostly music I have a lot of old quad stuff and the new dvd a and dts. I have put the 9s on a peavy cs 1200 and they really come alive. my othe project will have all seperet amps and electronic crossvers it will be built into the walls. by the way Dale do you have any of the mounting rings for the AR 12 inch 10 inch and 8 inch woofers.thanks Jim Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
