roundhome
This Is a early LST. black walnut that was not oiled. vary even black paint, looks like a pro painted it. the sticker on the back is held on with the original staples and it is black under it. its a small white one with blue AR logos on it. I have to make new top and botom panels along with the sides I have taken lots of picture while taking it apart.there are lots of staples and brads holding this thing together along with glue. They used alot of shims putting it together. This speaker had never been taken apart before . Its a shame it got droped so hard. What was the original oil used on these and did it have any stain in it?I have a friend that has a molding shaper. I plan on having him make several sticks of the virtical molding both in black walnut and oak. will also be making extra panels in black walnut and oak.I will do my best to make a set of prints with locations of bracing and blocking.Jim
