Rlowe
I have a pair of AR14s but no frront covers.I am considering buying Foam for the front. What are the views on using cloth or foam covers?
Guest Bret
>I am considering buying Foam for the front.<Personally, I wouldn't consider anything else. But then, I have a great fondness for the "look" of that series of speaker. From a distance you can't tell an AR-14 from a 12 from an 11 from an upside-down 10pi if they've all got the foam on the front.Bret
Rlowe
Bret,Thanks for the reply, I appreciate your view on using foam to make them look like the original speaker, but I was hoping there might have been some discussion on the pro or cons of using foam over speaker cloth from an acoustical viewpoint.Richard

It's been so long since I've been in front of a 14 that I have no clue.Bret
