Hello

I need some input on this one .

I just received a painted black LST vary early one # 2067 inspected by W B. well some one on the way dropped it vary hard the bottum is seperated and one side is split the switch has been pushed in still works wood is broken.

both front virtical wood strips are able to be pulled off.

and it will need new vaneer.

all mids work and the woofer is in good shape tweeters have broken wires going into the dome no fix. I have replacements for them. and I will need three new speaker grills I can make a new set of frames from the other set I have but the cloth will be hard.

So the plan, to vary carefully take it apart and draw out the complete box make new parts and put it back together with new vaneer. and have a set of drawings made of the cabinet for the forum.

em I out of my mind?

I have another one so this is part of a pair the other is near perfect.

ps my LST IIs sound great now though with seas tweeters. sometimes its a compromise with no 8 ohm ones around.

Jim, If you want to send me the frames, I will redo them for you. I suggest you consider doing all 6 so the match perfectly. Dale in Reno
