I have a pair of 3a's and I think the dome midrange is spectacular...incredible. Not only the lack of coloration but the dispersion. I guess it is much easier to hear the benefits in a livingroom vs a showroom. I suppose the original tweeters have the same benefit but my pair has the HiVi Q1R's.
