I think it was Tom that said that it isn't likely they could ever be repaired to spec and that the jigs were worn-out and discarded so there will never be anymore.Or maybe I'm confused.But if you happen to have a couple of burned-out 3a midranges I'd LOVE to have them - and fast. I have a couple of midranges that are gone and if you e-mail me your shipping address I will give them to you if you will pick up the freight by USPS. If you just need the mesh and diffusers I will pull them off to save freight? If you get back soon I may be going to the Post Office today. roundhome Posted February 11, 2004 Report Share Posted February 11, 2004 Hello its jim in spokane I know what every one is saying about doing the tweeters. this guy up here would still like to try to do one he is sure he can do a mid one that has the plate that scews off. we can only let him try he plans on making all new jigs i don't have any bad 4 ohm tweeters and no bad mids for him to try .it would only cost shipping you could even try pulling out the dome and coil of the mid your taking apart for bret.Jimjust an idea we could have someone do some test on them.
