I've got a front wired one -- but can't bring myself to drill a hole in the front panel of the speaker.ThanksHi JamesIf you are very careful, you can solder lead extensions of fine stranded copper wire and lead them between the flange and the drivers rim.I did the opposite procedure with rear connections to a front wired board solder connections.The leads should be parallel, not twisted where it fits inside the flanged and re-puttied surface, to avoid a short.Place black electrical tape to hide the wires.There is no need to drill any holes, my friend, there is adequate room with small wires.
