denial
First off, hello, very glad to have found this site, first post!! I own a pair of M6's in dire need of refoaming--How do I actually remove the woofers? I've taken the bottoms off just to peer inside and it looks like the center board within the woofer column is meant to slide out (which it wouldn't with moderate force). Just wanted to get some insight, if available, from more experienced folks before I break something.

michiganpat
yup, just slides out. I did my M5's a couple of months ago. I used these surrounds, fit and worked greathttp://meniscusaudio.com/8-foam-p-1236.htmlthe cap in the top section is a poly film and doesn't need replacing. the (IIRC) 300uf NPE high pass for the top section I didn't bother replacing either. if it drifts out of spec even 20% I doubt it will influence the sound much.
