Transmaster Posted March 26, 2012 Report Share Posted March 26, 2012 I have been educating myself on speaker restoration as you know I have a pair Wharfedale W-35's in need of just this. I have learned that unless you have a speaker that is of a particular collectable nature coned speakers 8 inches on down are not worth having rebuild. This is a job that you should really not do yourself. Here is a Youtube video of a Peavy Lowrider, Blackwidow 18" speaker being rebuilt. This speaker costs somewhere around $250 dollars new.
