Steve F
<(note: this was longer, but I took too long posting, timed out, and lost a few tangential paragraphs at the end.)This was in one of Ken Kantor's recent postings, and I've seen similar messages from other Forum members. Whenever I write what is likely to be more than a two-sentence reply (like my rather lengthy tomes on "Sealed vs. Ported," "EV vs. HK," etc.) I always write it in Word first. That way I have as much time as I need. I can save it and come back to it later if I have to look up some specs or check a date, I can use spell check, proof read for grammar, usage, capitalization, etc. In other words, I can clean things up without any time pressure. When I'm done, I just copy and paste it into a Forum post.It also gives me a convenient archive of my postings, without having to hunt it down on the site itself.Just a suggestion.Steve F. administrator
I'm going to look into resolving this time-out issue. I'll respond here if I am able to fix it.Mark
administrator
Fixed, on two fronts .. 1.) The session time-out is now at 60 minutes.2.) Users now have an option to remain logged in to this system at all times. If you do not share your computer with other people, this might be a good option to set.Mark

What would my third-grade teacher think of me now?)Steve F.
