Guest the magic rat
I have a pair of MGC-2's. The foam is rotted away and needs to be replaced. I've done my AR48's before but these MGC's have an odd shaped woofer. Appears to be 11" and has two flat side making it look more like an oval. Can anybody offer up any information. Parts Express has a foam replacement kit for an AR 11". Could this be the correct part?
ar_pro
Didn't the MGC-2 use a polypropylene cone 12" woofer? Was it built on the same frame as the woofers from the Classic, ADD, and AR-9 series?

I measured it and it's actually closer to 11". I guess I'll go with a 12" repair kit. Thanks for your response.

I have a woofer like that, and I am pretty sure that it is built on the same frame as the Classic, ADD, and AR-9 series 12" woofers, which means that you will need an AR-11" surround repair kit.
