Dave S.
One pair of vintage KLH Model Twelve speakers for sale. These were KLH's top of the line dynamic speaker, designed to replicate the sound of the famous, electrostatic KLH Model Nine in a dynamic design. These speakers have nice bass, a tremendously smooth midrange and an easy to listen to treble response. Speaker compliment consists of (1) 12" woofer, (2) 3" cone midrange speakers and a 1-3/4" tweeter all contained in a cabinet that is 29" high X 22-1/4" wide X 15" deep. Weight is 85lbs each. Professionally rebuilt external crossover/contour controls lets you customize the boost/cut for four frequency ranges to tailor the sound to your liking. Spare drivers include (4) midrange units and(2)tweeters. The speaker grills are good and the KLH badges are present. You also get the original instruction sheet and a review written by Julian Hirsch. The oiled walnut cabinets have a couple of minor veneer chips on the sides at the very bottom that have been repaired and a few minor flaws due to age, but look very nice overall. These speakers are located in Delaware and are too large to ship. Thanks for looking and please let me know if you have any other questions. Email questions to veloceleste@yahoo.com.
