Woofer for Frank

Recommended Posts

Hi there;

I believe the Electro Voice 30W woofer that is being auctioned on ebay for 1 more day may just satisfy Frank's craving for deep bass.

Frank, may even say, that he will make a shelf to mount it on, poor boy.

So what if it's 30" in diameter, and weighs like 100 pounds plus, just think of the occassional bass that will eminate from it.

Ok, it also needs a 20 cubic foot enclosure, but I am sure Frank will find a way to justify that as well.

If you saw the beginning of, Back To the Future, with Michael J Fox you saw the gigantic speaker he was going to strum his guitar on and the results.

That poor lad is really heart broken without his 12" woofers.

This will definitely cause his landlord to boot his butt out onto the streets now.

What do you think now, Frank, good idea, Frank?

Well well! I just saw this today 2-25-06, thanks Vern and I appreciate your helpfullness regarding my woofer gravings. I feel I should look into that extra large woofer as I have found a place that actually makes them althoght I can't remember it just now. But hey could you imagine such a thing. I do recall will I was 'stationed' in Great Lakes Ill. in '69 in the 'marching and event hall' which was this huge hanger type of building was equiped with this huge probably 30 inch woofer with a number of additional woofers in enclosures surrounding it which looked like 18 inch speakers. The sound was huge.

Thanks, FM
