JeffS Posted February 26, 2004 Report Share Posted February 26, 2004 I am in the process of restoring a pair of Allison:Six speakers.The woofers are completely covered with dust, and although the surrounds are fine, I will probably replace them. Allison coated the woofers with a sticky substance and I'm wondering if it is best to re-coat them after cleaning the cones and installing new surrounds.If so, what did Allison use as a coating?
