Guest mesh50
Hi Folks,At a recent estate sale, I bought a nice stereo system. Amongst the stereo literature that came with the system was a sales "Data Sheet" for an interesting KLH model (see subject), which the system owner had obviously considered. Based on the purchase date of the system I obtained, they must be from the late 1970s.The speaker stands 41" high X 11" wide X 11" deep and weighs 60 lbs. It is a two-way speaker, with four drivers: two 8 1/4" woofers and two 2 1/2" tweeters.Has anyone seen these before? I could take a photo of the brochure and provide a link here, if there is any interest. Thanks,Steve
administrator
Hi Steve,If you can scan or photograph the brochure and send the scans or photos to me, that would be great and I'll get them online in the KLH section of the library. My email is webmaster@arsenal.net.Thanks,Mark
Guest benemusica
I own a pair of these. You are very lucky. You have what I and many of my friends believe to be a truly awesome speaker. Let me know if you wish to sell them.
BourbonBob
I have a pair of these too. I find it curious that the only identification on them seems to be the round 'Research X' badge on the bottom grille cover. Shouldn't this model be considered a 'classic' KLH? I believe it might be the last model before going overseas.
