jonwb Posted January 23, 2023 Report Share Posted January 23, 2023 Hi... new here. I'm restoring some 1969 AR-3a's. I have one Midrange driver that likes to cut out occasionally. All the circuitry, potentiometers and wiring test fine. Therefore, I'm inclined to think that it may have a loose or broken lead wire near the voicecoil. Here's my issue... the metal protection screen surrounding the coil looks to be solidly "hot glued" in place.
