Of possible interest to this group is a vintage set of Allison CD-6 speakers in a very attractive oak finish. Drivers were in great shape when I last had these units open, and they still sound fine. I had them open to recap the crossover - I hadn't a bad capacitor in one, I replaced it with an Erse capacitor, and I was so pleased with the result I replaced the cap in the other speaker. Grills are in good shape. Veneer is good too, except for a tiny veneer chip in the back corner. Available for pickup in Washington, DC. Asking price I see $225 - way down from the original asking.
