Jim Pearce Posted March 13, 2020 Report Share Posted March 13, 2020 I would like to get some thoughts on pushing the ar2ax to the 70 watt range with an 80 watt Sansui 8080. The speakers have foam surrounds and have been entirely rebuilt about 6 years ago, they have the red phenolic dome tweeters. BTW my first set of AR speakers were 2ax's back in the early 70's....loved them! Here's a link to our library which shows the power handling of AR speakers.
