Thanks Kent! I was sure it would be you with the save! ? My dad grew up in Linden, so I know that Ho-Ho-Kus is not a mythical land! I'll keep Tim's info on file.

Hi all - I've just come in to the very rare Citation Receiver, bought from the original owner. It's in great shape, but IF I developed a problem (not unheard of for a 40+ year old amp!), who's your go-to for repair/rehab?

If you're interested, Alex Bobotek makes exact replacement grilles - https://www.etsy.com/shop/AllisonSpeakerParts
I got replacement grilles for my CD6s from him, and they're better than the originals in every way. IMHO I wouldn't part these out, they're good enough to sell with a woofer refoaming if needed.

That's a really clean pair of CD6s (especially with little to no apparent grille damage!)

Yeah, I've seen those, but they're pretty rough (no grilles on one, damaged ones on the other)

Hi, I'd be interested in a pair of Allison 6/CD6 (i.e., later model) speakers, in Walnut. The tweeters and grills have to be completely perfect (I'm not doing repairs on those), but it's ok if the woofers need refoaming. Original owners preferred!
Allison woofer repair (in Massachusetts!)

Hey! Glad to see the forums back up and running. I've just starting using my Allison Threes again (the home office routine!) and have discovered that both of the the surrounds have finally bit the dust. I had Bill LeGall at Millersound fix my midranges a couple of years ago, and he's amazing and wonderful, but I'd like to try to find someone local in MA who's worked on the Allison 12" woofers before and can fix them. Any suggestions??
