JamesF Posted July 13, 2022 Report Share Posted July 13, 2022 Newbie but hopefully relevant question to this topic. I too have just acquired a pair of '70s AR-5 speakers. They belonged to my father but have been sat in my mother's spare bedroom for 20 years. I can see / feel the woofers need refoaming, but no idea about the rest of the unit. The cabinets are solid and so for sentimental and aural reasons I would like them to work again. I've not had opportunity to test them yet but they did work when put into storage. The issue is that I am in the UK and am struggling to source parts over here. And indeed much indigent other than this thread! 😁 I do have images but cannot see how to load up...
