Guest shandy
I need help in order to know where to connect my left and right channel wires to the ar 2ax speakers that I recently bought. In the rear of the cabinet I only see three inputs marked with T 1 and 2.Thanks
ninohernes
Connect your positive lead to 1 and your negitive lead to 2. Make sure the strap between 2 and T is on. Do the same on your second speaker.
Guest shandy
Sorry, it's me again. As it's a pair of second hand speakers, it looks like there here is no strap between T and 2. Can I perhaps fork the end of the negative wire in order to link both of them? Thanks again
ninohernes
Yeah, that will work fine. This connects the tweeters, if you did not do this, you would get woofer only operation. Also, there should be directions written on the back of the speaker cabinents, yours must have fallen off.
Guest shandy
Okay, thanks a million. Just one more question: in the link below I've just founded the instruction manual for the loudspeakers. Apparently it says that you have to connect the terminal 1 to the "zero" end of the amplifier, while the end 2 has to be wired the "hot" amplifier's end, wich sounds a little contradicting what you were saying in the previous post. Please, help... http://images.google.it/imgres?imgurl=www....-8%26oe%3DUTF-
ninohernes
It really dosent matter, as long as both speakers are wired the same.

Terminal 2 is positive thru the xover and I usually hook that terminal to positive (hot) on the amplifiers. I would suggest that you use a wire jumper between 2 and T to assure a firm connection.
