Oak cabinets are in very nice shape, as are the black metal grilles. One very minor chip on one speaker at the top, in the back. These have Wilmington, MA labels on the back.These are locally available in the greater Boston area. You're welcome to try them out. $120 seems like a fair price. Yours seem to be in great condition for a very fair price - - really nice bookshelf speakers, excellent drivers, robust build, fine finish. I think ADS may have offered this line in black laminate as well, but I'm not sure of the wood veneer options. From your final pic, though, your pair looks to me more like teak veneer or maybe honey-stained birch. I have a pair of this very same model (circa 1987), and mine are most definitely oak veneer. Too bad I don't have photos of the sides of the cabinets, those are what made me think oak, but you've got me wondering. Alas it's too late now.BTW, the buyer worked at ADS in its car stereo days.
