dav2no1
Hi Everyone. Anyone know where I can get factory or similar foam backing for my tweeters? And what are your thoughts on this foam? What are they supposed to do and are they effective? Thanksdave s
coner
I have the 1/4" thick dark grey open cell stuff, such as used on the JBL L-100 tweeter. I have a bulk roll of it, Ican supply by the sq. ft. Thick felt works also as used by AR. Yes it works and is a great thing to do. It reducesany reflections off the faceplate and cabinet. I've see pre-made donuts somewhere, maybe parts express.
johnfalc
I found suitable adhesive backed felt material at a hardware store and cut the "donuts" from it for one pair of my AR-3a tweeters.
