I am curious as the class D design in this case has plenty of grunt...something it seems that the 9s need...and they run cool..a definite advantage down under.any thoughts gratefully absorbed! rrcrain Posted March 6, 2012 Report Share Posted March 6, 2012 Good class "D" is so new I doubt many have experience with them, let alone with Acoustic Research speakers. Granted, class D has been around for a few years, but from what I've read, the first attempts at it were less than stellar. Rogue Audio recently announced they have released a hybrid class D with a tube front end and solid state amplification.
