Thanx to everyone, especially Barry here in Florida for all their help!

I have AR 9's w/ replacement woofers wired out of phase!

I simply reversed the leads of the woofer terminals w/jumpers on the back of the speakers instead of going into em.

They are working fine, all 4 woofers are now in phase.

I spaced the speakers wider apart, and 3 inches out from the back wall.

They are 8.5 feet apart, and I am 9 feet away, firing straight ahead.]

I had to run the lower mid and tweeter flat, and suck the dome out 3 db, but boy do they sing!

They sound absolutely wunderful !

I have an absolutely huge soundfield that stretches from wall to wall.

I was listening to STYX, and the leslie on Castle walls seemed to come from the next world!

Jill Souble's voice is spot on, as is the Cranberrys and Chris De Burgh's.

I am so fortunate to have found these, God is so good to me !

I am going to go listen to them again, and Barry turned me on to some good , inexpensive speaker wire I want to try.

Did Ken Kanter design these ?

I'll just echo what so many others have already said, "Welcome to the wonderful world of AR9 ownership." They are something special.

When mine were in a good room and given enough amp they were *the* standard by which every other speaker was derided by my friends and me. (with one, situational, very special exception)

I hope that you have as many fine hours in front of yours as I've spent in front of mine.

Now a pair of 10pi's for the bedroom and a set of 11's for the garage!

Bret
