billintempe
The tweeter in one of my Snell JIVs works but only in one of the speakers. I have tried to find a blown fuse, problem with the crossover in the other but I can't find anything awry. Please tell me if you can, what I need to look for to get the speaker working again so that it produces sound from the tweeter which has been tested working in the other cabinet. Thanks for your help. I appreciate it.

I appreciate it.Hi thereI do not know anything about your particular speaker system. That being said, jumper a non-polar capacitor across the existing tweeter capacitor. The existing capacitor will likely look normal in physical appearance but may be open. This will at least eliminate that possibility.Possibly with a 1 1/2 volt maximum battery, jumper just the two tweeter leads.
