I'm old enough that I recall the ADS speakers from late 70's and earl 80's - particularly the bookshelf speakers with metal grills. The first pair I purchased was L980s. I loved their sound and proceeded to add L910s, L710s, L1230s, and L1290s. I'm obviously a big fan of the ADS speakers. The 1290s I own do not have the grills and I would like to locate a pair.
