Guest Posted November 4, 2002 Report Share Posted November 4, 2002 A family friend has a pair of AR 2A speakers stored in her attic. I checked them out and could only hear sound from the woofers. The pots did not turn too easily - I suspect they need to be bypassed or replaced. I could not get the grills off so I couldn't see any of the drivers. Does this model have foam surrounds? The cabinets are in very good shape. I would like to make an offer on these. Can anyone tell me what a fair offer would be? Thanks in advance.
