Guest Lutherluke Posted March 20, 2009 Report Share Posted March 20, 2009 Hello everyone, New here I just found this site and thought I would ask a question on here about any ideas for a replacement speaker for an Epiphone Galaxie 10 Tube amp. It has a Celestion Tube 10 in it right now, But its really muddy sounding and I play mostly Country music and want a super clean sound if I can get it out of this little amp. Its just a practice amp for taking out here and there so I don't have to haul my fender twin reverb around. I changed the tubes for some Rubys and it helped some, It had alot of treable sound before, But its still really muddy sounding and kinda distorted.
