Guest Posted October 2, 2002 Report Share Posted October 2, 2002 Stupid question, but on the rear speaker wire connectors of early ARs the screw on posts are numbered 1 and 2 - what number would be "red" and "black" (or negative and positive) as found on more modern speakers? The (black)to the #1. strange but accurate as I know it.. It does not make any difference (in my opinion) as long as the speakers are connected the same way. Good luck, Dale in Reno, Nv.....
