Should I seal the dust cap?

I got together a pair of KLH 17. One woofer had a black sealant applied on the dust cap. The other one did not. The dust cap looks quite porous. Should I seal the dust cap too?

I resealed the cloth surround. But the push test indicates that the box is not fully sealed. The cone comes right back just a bit slower.
